Day 13

Casino #3

Today we went to the Horseshoe Casino in Bossier City Louisiana. We had lunch there at 12:00 and left at 6:30. Being that I am not a gambler as I believe I should get an item for my money. I first went up to the spa after lunch about 1:00 to see what they may have available. No luck they were booked. Then I went to the retail shops. Not many stores but did buy a little jacket on sale for 50% off. Now it is 1:45. So I did what I do not normal do, put money in the slot machine and pushed that little button. Over and over and over and over…… My money went up and down and up and down. In the end I lost the money I put in that stupid machine. So my ½ price jacket cost more than the original price. What was I thinking???? Mom and Roy did much better then me as they came out of there with some pocket change. The casino was very nice except that they allow people to smoke in it. The later the day got the more people that came and the more smoke filled tha air. It makes me appreciate that in Washington so many public places are now smoke free. When we got back to the hotel I went straight to the shower.

Tomorrow we head to Mississippi to do some of Roy’s family research.
