Day 14

Today we headed off to Jackson Mississippi and found that the Mississippi Archives and Historical Library is here. Thinking libraries are open on Saturday we headed there when we got to town at 2. Well as luck would have it the library closed at 1. So we will be back through Tuesday and stop again. It should have a lot of information on the Mathis family. This is Roy’s mother’s side. While here in Jackson we met with Roy's 2nd cousin 1x removed Shelia. What a great visit we had.


Before we left Shreveport we had breakfast with Roy’s sister Jean her daughter Debbie. Debbie’s husband Mark and son Jonathan.
